My passion is to teach and train martial arts and to inspire my students to live their best life. I am constantly striving to develop my teaching methodology so I can give my best to my students.
I love being part of a group that doesn't take itself to seriously even though we are serious about training!
I have been training in a wide range of martial arts since my mother enrolled me in a Taekwondo class in 1992. I began teaching in 1997 and have been teaching full time since 2001.
I love Monkey Mind because it is an honest plan for people who may not have any ability, attribute or inclination to learn how to fight. We just want to give people a strategy to be able to protect themselves and their loved ones until they are able to get out of a violent situation.

I always focus on the individual and enjoy building confidence through positive coaching. The individual always moves in their own way, and I enjoy slowly moulding them into becoming a better version of themselves.
I began training martial arts in Cambridge 1998 working on a couple of Cambridge University projects. Since then I have been training all over the world experiencing many disciplines and being fortunate to teach in Sweden, Finland and the USA.
Monkey Mind has been a revelation for me, and in my opinion brought a new way of training, as it trains the individual in context from the offset. It breaks down the fundamentals of what’s required when less desirable situations occur, and makes the individual a difficult target, focusing on creating an opportunity to get away safely.
